that isnt bass wood, looks like Birch. Basswood isnt made in plywood very often and when it is it cracks easier

Thats a piece of baltic birch plywood you are comparing to the balsa. Nothing like basswood, which is a very soft, North American hardwood.

This is great. Very helpful. Thank you. I am having a problem though. I did all this and saved it. It printed and cut great but when I came back to the project to print again all the text was back to basic cut. Any idea why that would happen?

Idk what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to cut out name tags for my wedding and it keeps cutting up the name . I didnt upload it as SVG because it says the file is too large, its' only 4 names lol

Hi Neli, what I am trying to avoid is the loss of depth and detail when I flatten an image to print and cut, like what I noticed with your cute dog file Secher. How can I print and cut an svg or png and not have it separate mats and lose all the detail? thank you.
